PEE WEE WHATLEY

Graveside memorial services for Luron "PeeWee" Whatley III will be held on Friday, May 5th, 2023, at 11 am at the Restland Cemetery in Boswell, OK.

Pee Wee passed away on Sunday, April 23, 2023, in Galveston, TX at the age of 69. Luron Whatley III was born on November 6, 1953, the son of Luron Gus Whatley Jr. and Belmalee (Lovens) Whatley in Houston, TX.

PeeWee enjoyed family gatherings, swimming, having family BBQs, and riding his motorcycle.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his companion, Johnny Chambless.

PeeWee is survived by his children, Heather Mosher of Galveston, TX, Luron George Alvin Whatley of Galveston, TX, Ginger Marie Simerly of Shepherd, TX; siblings, Horace Monroe Goldman of MN, George Grant Whatley of Pasadena, TX, Judy Marie Everett of Cleveland, TX, Linda Corine Benson of Millers Creek, NC, Robert Francis Morgan of Ennis, TX, and Kathleen Franke of Humble, TX; five grandchildren, Devin Mosher, Lily Mosher, Lyteah Whatley, Luron Whatley V, and Lacy Simerly; four great-grandchildren, Maraiia Reyes, Robert Reyes, Mariana Reyes, and Wesson Simerly.
