Maggie Thatcher married J.E. Green on September 2, 1895 in Muskogee, OK. They had three or four children. J.E. and two or three of the children died in a fire or accident on the family's fishing boat. Son Alvis Wade Green survived but later died as a result of a powerful vaccine given for military service in WWI.
