Richard James "Jim" Adair, of Fort Worth, Texas, passed away on Monday, May 1, 2023 at the age of 59.

Visitation: 6:00-8:00 PM Wednesday, May 10, 2023 at Skyvue Funeral Home.
Chapel Service: 1:00 PM Thursday, May 11, 2023 at Skyvue Funeral Home.
Interment: Skyvue Memorial Gardens.

Jim was born on August 27, 1963 in White Settlement, Texas to Richard Roy Adair and Johnette Fulcher Adair.

Upon graduating high school, he completed a four-year IBEW Apprenticeship and then went on to work as a journeyman electrician with the IBEW local 116. He attended Fort Worth Free Methodist and Life Church in Fort Worth. He was a part of the IBEW, Aledo Athletics, SOS and TASO.

Jim's youthful spirit was fulfilled by umpiring baseball for various youth and high school leagues. In his younger years he coached baseball and football for his own children as well as for other family members. His love of the game and giving back to the children was a true joy. He loved to be outdoors and was often seen working with his dog Rocco. He was known for being quite the handyman; always willing to help friends and family on various projects and repairs. Always one phone call away (if his phone was charged) to help assist with any project you needed some help with. He loved to watch his grandchildren participate in their own interests including football, baseball, umpiring, hunting and band.

He is preceded in death by his son, Lucas Adair; parents, Richard and Johnette Adair.

Jim is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Lisa Adair; son, Wes Adair and wife, April; mother-in-law, Bettye Wright; sisters, Debbie Phillips and husband, Randy, Renelle Morton and husband, Paul; brother, Loyd Adair and wife, BJ; brother-in-law, Tony Wright and wife, Patricia; grandchildren, Landon Adair, Logan Mitchell; nieces, Manda Johnson and husband, Chris, Andria Stubblefield and husband, James, Courtney Casas and husband, Chris, Sarah Morton Bussell, Chelsea Barrera and husband, Jay, Cathy and husband, David, Suzy Wesson, Rebecca Wright; nephews, Corey Phillips, Paul Morton Jr. and wife, Megan, Richard Morton and wife Brenda, William Richards, Jon Wesson, Adam Wright, Ethan Wright; numerous cousins, great-nieces, nephews and loving friends.
