Blaney, 19, of Winter Park, Fla.; was assigned to 1st Battalion, 66th Armor Regiment, 1st Brigade, 4th Infantry Division, Fort Hood, Texas; died Sept. 29 from a non-combat related incident in Taji, Iraq. Chris is survived by his mother, Dorinda Blaney, his grandparents; and a great-grandmother.
