Ruth Prince, 93, of Poplar Bluff, passed away May 10, 2023, at Oakdale Caring center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. She was born September 28, 1929, at Naylor, Missouri to the late Marshall Johnson and Gertrude "Harris" Johnson.

She was a member of the Fellowship General Baptist Church at Poplar Bluff, Missouri but had also been a Sunday School teacher and church secretary at the Elm Grove General Baptist Church. She enjoyed Gaither Videos and going to church as well as making jewelry and pillows.

On May 21, 1949, at Piggott, Arkansas She was married to Norman Prince. He preceded her in death on January 7, 2007.

She is survived by; three daughters, One sister as well as nine grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren, 21 great great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, as well as five grandchildren and two sisters: Neva Lawson, and Marie Andrews and four brothers, Aubrey Johnson, Leroy Jack Johnson, Bobby Johnson and Alton Johnson.

Visitation will be on Saturday May 13, 2023, at the Fellowship General Baptist Church in Poplar Bluff at 10:00 am. Services will follow at 2:00 pm at the church. Interment will be at Naylor Memorial Cemetery.
