Milton Eugene Blackstock 90, of Austin, Texas, passed peacefully at home on May 6, 2023. He and his wife, Billie were married for 68 years, they have three children, three grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.

He was born September 29, 1932 in Austin, Texas to Thomas Lee Walker Blackstock and Ruby Orita Swofford. He graduated from Austin High School and went into the Navy. After returning home from the Navy, he met and married Billie Christine Daugherty on March 26, 1955. His career was with HB Zachary construction company for 30 years.

He is survived by his loving wife, Billie Blackstock; his son, Rodney Blackstock, and wife Kay Blackstock; Randy Blackstock, and daughter, Rhonda Collins. Grandchildren Jennifer Tijerina and her husband, Jason Tijerina, Mandy Schwager, and Leslie Collins. Great Grandchildren, Jarrett Stinson, Lydia, Grant and Sophie McFarland, Aria Schwager and Owen Miller.

Milton was preceded in death by his mother, Ruby Orita Swofford; father, Thomas Lee Walker Blackstock; Siblings, Inez Wiley, Thomas (Buddy) Blackstock, Jack Blackstock, Louise Bunting, Leroy Blackstock, Ruth Coleman, Katherine Blackstock, and Robert (Bobby) Blackstock.

He was laid to rest at Forest Oaks Cemetery in Austin.

A funeral service for Milton was held Friday, May 12, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM by Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 6300 West William Cannon Drive, Austin, TX 78749. Following the funeral service was a graveside service from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Memorial Park, 6300 West William Cannon Drive, Austin, TX 78749.
