Wesley Bell (July 15, 1979 - May 4, 2023)

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Wesley Bell, a beloved son, brother, father, and friend. Wesley was born on July 15, 1979, to Gary Tolbert and Vicki Stidham Bell. He peacefully departed from this world on May 4, 2023, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.

Wesley will forever be remembered as an intelligent and bright young man who possessed a natural talent for music which he inherited from his father, his grandparents, great-grandparents, and other extended family members including uncles and cousins. He had a unique ability to mesmerize others with his incredible guitar skills, effortlessly shredding through melodies that touched the hearts of those who listened. Whether he was playing at home or jamming with friends, his passion for music was evident and inspiring.

Beyond his love for music, Wesley had a green thumb and found solace in nurturing fruit and vegetable plants. His love for gardening was a testament to his dedication and care, as he tended to each plant, watching them grow and flourish. The simple pleasures of gardening brought Wesley joy, satisfaction, and a sense of pride.

In addition to his many passions, Wesley possessed an extensive knowledge of automobiles, in particular classic cars, a passion he inherited from his father as well as his uncles. Spending countless hours with his father in the garage, Wesley eagerly absorbed the wisdom and expertise passed down to him. From a young age, he developed a deep understanding of various makes and models, and their intricate mechanics.

Wesley's warm and gentle spirit touched the lives of many, and he leaves behind a cherished son, Tolle Thompson, who will carry on his father's memory. He is also survived by his devoted mother, Vicki, and loving sister, Niki Bell. Wesley's presence will be deeply missed by his extended family, including numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins, who all held a special place in his heart.

Wesley cared deeply for all of his family as they were his refuge, his source of strength, and the foundation upon which he built his life. Wesley's legacy will continue to live on in the cherished memories of the time he spent with his family, as they carry forward his love, laughter, and the enduring bond they shared.

As we bid farewell to Wesley, let us remember him as the vibrant, talented, and caring individual he was. His music will continue to echo in our hearts, his laughter will forever linger in our memories, and his love for life and family will remain an inspiration to us all. May he find eternal peace, knowing that he was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed.

A Celebration of Life will be held on his birthday, July 15, 2023. Friends and family are welcome to gather together to honor and celebrate Wesley's life. Location will be announced on a later date.

Proceeded in death by his father Gary, his grandparents Wendell T. Bell, Alva Pendleton, and William and Virginia Stidham.

Rest in peace, Wesley. Your light will continue to shine brightly in our hearts.
