Mrs Anna C Davis, wife of Isaac Davis of Kennard, died Wednesday night at 10:30 o'clock at the home of her son, Harvey Davis, in that village from an attack of paralysis, the second she had suffered in the past nine years. Mrs Davis was in her usual good health and had gone to her sons home earlier to spend the day. She ate a hearty dinner and was feeling unusually good although she had always felt the effects of the former attack. While resting in a chair, she was seized with the attack and died almost instantly.
Besides her husband and the son already mentioned, she leaves the following daughters, Mrs John LaRue, Cable; Mrs Edward LaRue, Urbana; and Mrs Middleton of Indianapolis. The deceased was 58 years of age.
The funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at Mt Carmel church and burial under the direction of JL Troyer, West Liberty undertaker, will be made at the cemetery adjoining the church.
