Ola Josephine "Jo" McMillion, 83, of Charleston went home to be with the Lord on July 5, 2014, at Hubbard Hospice House. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy McMillion; parents Lud and Dora Tate; daughter, Donna McMillion; sons, Danny and Rodney McMillion; grandchildren, Amanda, Kevin, Joseph, and Cathy; sisters, Lula Haynes, Marie Haynes, and Ruby Taylor; and brothers, John, Robert, and Daniel B. Tate. Survivors include her loving children; granddaughter, who she thought of as a daughter; sisters; 8 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, July 9, 2014, at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home with Pastor Robert Legg officiating. Burial will be in the McMillion-Edens Cemetery, Charleston. Visitation with the family will be two hours prior to service time also at the funeral home.
