SUZANNE GILL OBITUARY
AGE 75 YEARS

Suzanne M. (Riley) Gill, of Palm Beach Gardens, FL, formerly of Lynn, MA, passed away peacefully, April 6th, in Florida. She was the beloved wife of the late Richard C. Gill; and mother of the late Richard P. Gill; she is survived by her daughter, Kara M. Malone and seven grandchildren. A daughter of the late Attorney Francis E. "Bud" Riley Jr. and Mary V. (Dow) Riley; she leaves two brothers, Francis of Lynn, Patrick J. of West Palm Beach, FL; and her sister Rosemary L. of Lynn. Her brother James R. Riley predeceased her. She also leaves her Godfather and Uncle.

Suzanne grew up in Lynn. She graduated from Our Lady of Nazareth Academy, and attended St. Joseph's College in Standish, Maine. She worked for the New England Telephone Company, Northeastern Airlines, and was most proud of her work at Delta Airlines where she worked for over 30 years and retired as a supervisor. Sue was also a former Aviation Safety Inspector at the Federal Aviation Administration, and a security manager for the Department of Homeland Security. Suzanne was a longtime member of the Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians Division 10 in Lynn, where she served as president and was honored as Woman of the Year. Active in politics, she was vice chair of the Lynn Democratic City Committee.

A Memorial Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, May 20th at 11:00AM in Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 17 Grove Street in Lynnfield, followed by burial in St. Joseph Cemetery, Lynn. Following the burial, friends and family are invited to continue the celebration in Sue's honor at the Knights of Columbus, 177 Lynnfield Street in Lynn.
