Aloysius "Al" Ellerbrock, 83, 108 East Race St., Millington, died at 7:30 a.m. November 25 in
Aloysius "Al" Ellerbrock, 83, 108 EGasetn Rearaceti oSnt. ,2 M (cilloinng'tto) n, died at 7:30 a.m. November 25 in
Copely Hospital, Aurora, where he had been a patient for two weeks after a six month illness.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in the Mueller Funeral Home, Peru, and 10 a.m.
in St. Joseph's Church with the Rev. Kevin Gorman, OSB, officiating. Burial will be in the church
cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m. Tuesday with a rosary at 6 p.m. He was born July
14, 1906, in Peru, a son of Frank and Elizabeth Schweickert Ellerbrock. He was a retired
carpenter. He and his wife previously owned and operated Ellerbrock Floor, Tile, and Gift Shop in
LaSalle. He married Gertrude Maurer February 14, 1931, in St. Joseph's Church, Peru. He was a
member of St. Anne's Church, Oswego. He is survived by his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Harry (Judi)
Nichols of Newark; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Joseph of Peru,
and Henry of Ladd. He was preceded in death by a son, Daniel, who died January 26, 1986; six
brothers and three sisters.
