McLellan was the husband of Eleanor McLellan of Eureka. He was the father of Mrs. Mary Loewenthal of Eureka and Jerry McLellan of Alton. He was the brother of William McLellan of Eureka. He was the grandfather of Randall Bennett of Fortuna, Patricia and Andrew Loewenthal of Eureka and Lea McLellan of Alton. He was the great grandfather of Bradley and Heidi Bennett of Fortuna. A native of Eureka, aged 78.
Mr. McLellan was a 40 year employee of the Pacific Gas & Electric Company. He was an overseas veteran of World War I, and a 50 year member of the American Legion Post 212 of Eureka.
Friends are invited to attend services at Sanders Funeral Home Tuesday, August 20th at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Sidney Jorgensen officiating. Casket bearers will be George Moore, Dino Mori, John Langer, Clarence Still, John Ford and Richard Lewis.
Concluding services at Ocean View Cemetery under the auspices of American Legion Post 212.
