After a long and useful life, Capt Andrew Van Donnally, died shortly after 12 o'clock Wednesday morning at his home in Charleston at the age of 71. Capt Donnally had been in failing health for a number of years, and had been ill for some time and practically helpless. Heart trouble was the immediate cause of death. He was a native of Kanawha county and was a steamboat captain in his active days.
