Mrs. Una Abbott, 72, of Newcomb, died Tuesday, February 24 at Southeastern Kentucky Baptist Hospital in Corbin, Ky.
Mrs. Abbott is survived by one daughter, Margaret Brown of Newcomb; four sons, Thomas Abbott of Newcomb, Eugene Abbott, Clyde Abbott and Carl Abbott, all of Minneapolis, Minn.; 16 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one sister, Alice Rhodes of Kansas.
Funeral services were held Friday at Newcomb Baptist Church with the Rev. Taylor McCreary and the Rev. General Hicks officiating. Interment was at Douglas Cemetery.
Harp Funeral Home of Jellico was in charge of arrangements.
