"Mick" or "Daddy Mickey Mouse" was born March 10, 1925 in Kansas City, KS to Leonard John Trapp and Lula Mae Blaker Trapp. Mickey passed away at his home on August 26, 2014.

Survivors, include his wife of 68 years, Dolores M. Workman Trapp. Daughter, Karen (KK) Presutti. Son, Craig Trapp (Melanie). Grandchildren, Tally & Jimmy Moore, Kristen & Kenny Swart, Josh & Stephanie Trapp. Great Grandchildren, Taylor, Addison, Taryn, Wyatt, Kannon and Cheyenne. He was preceded in death by his son Phillip W. Trapp.

Mickey's childhood was spent in Kansas City and Reno, Kansas. He enlisted in the army and was proud of his service in WWII and the Battle of the Bulge campaign.

He raised his family in Topeka, while working for 39 years at KPL/Westar Electric as the Director of Mapping. He retired and they moved to the Lake of the Ozarks in Camdenton, Missouri. They enjoyed 16 years on the lake before moving back to Topeka. Mick and Dolores got to travel around the USA in their RV and especially loved their time in Alaska.

Mickey absolutely loved to go to auctions and collect all types of interesting things and share them with family and friends.

Not only was Daddy Mickey Mouse the "best husband" and "Daddy" in the world to his family…He was a "good man with a huge heart that would help anyone, anytime."

Heartfelt thanks to Grace Hospice. Memorial contributions can be sent to Grace Hospice, 3715 SW 29th St. Topeka, KS 66614.
