Mrs. Bertha Eden of 75 Neilson St. died early this morning at Middlesex General Hospital after an illness of several days. She was 76.
A lifelong resident of this city, she was the daughter of the late Voorhees and Mary Dunn Cox.
Surviving are her husband, Charles H. Sr.; two sons, Charles H. Jr. of this city and Douglas J. of Miami, Fla.; three daughters, Mrs. Kenneth Carkhuff of Highland Park, Mrs. Early Dilly of Edison and Mrs. Willbury Brown of Cranberry Lake; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will take place Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Gleason Funeral Home, 33 Throop Ave.
Interment will follow in Elmwood Cemetery.
