Mrs. M. Belmont, 84, Former Patersonian
Mrs. Michelina Curcio Belmont, former longtime Paterson resident, died Wednesday in her home on Rt. 414, Hector, N.Y. Her age was 84.
Born in Italy, Mrs. Belmont came to the United States as a girl and lived 50 years in the Riverside section of Paterson before moving to Hector five years ago. Her husband, Lorenzo, died in 1952.
The funeral will be Monday at 9 a.m. from the R. Charles D. Legg & Sons Home for Funerals, 384 Broadway, with a high requiem Mass at 10 in Blessed Sacrament R.C. Church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may visit tomorrow and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 10 p.m.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Katharine Leidenfrost of Hector; Mrs. Rose Tancredi of Hawthorne and Mrs. Marie Coll of Glendale, Calif.; four sons, Anthony Belmont of Hector; Peter of Denville; Joseph L. of Wayne and Frank J. of Pompton Lakes; two brothers, Frank R. Curcio of Hollywood, Calif., and Louis Curcio of Greenwich, Conn.; two sisters in Italy, and 21 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
