Theodore R. Peterson, 76, former Weyauwega city official, died Saturday at Dousman after a long illness. He was born April 19, 1882 at Kallundborg, Denmark. He came to America with his parents when he was 5 years old. He lived in Weyauwega since he was 16.
He worked for the Baldwin Creamery, Weyauwega, for 22 years. He was appointed post master twice and served two terms as city clerk. He was also a member of the board of education. He was a member of Lodge No. 82 F. and A.M. since 1902.
Funerals services will be 1:30 Tuesday afternoon at the Harrigan Funeral Home, Weyauwega, with the Rev. Sydney M. Lewis, a retired Methodist minister from Waupaca, in charge. Burial will be in Oakwood cemetery, where the lodge will conduct Masonic services at the gravesite. Friends may call at the funeral home.
