Judith "Judy" (Cogdill) Arnall
July 21, 1939 - May 26, 2023

Judith "Judy" (Cogdill) Arnall, 83, departed this life on May 26, 2023. Judy was born on July 21, 1939, in Odin, Missouri, to Horace "Owen" and Doris (O'Dell) Cogdill.

Judy attended Hartville Schools and graduated from Hartville High School in 1958. She was working for Arnall Lumber when she met her future husband, Issac Arnall, and on January 30, 1959, they were united in marriage in Hartville, Missouri. This union was blessed with four sons and two daughters, Jackie, Jody, Linzie, Laron, Patricia, and Kala.

Judy was a hard worker, and she spent many years working beside her husband on their dairy farm. Prior to retirement she worked at Missouri Home Care for 30 years.

Judy became a daughter of Christ at a young age. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Hartville, Missouri, for over 70 years. Judy loved to serve and dedicate her time to planning and preparing church meals.

Judy was a great cook; her Easter Sunday cinnamon rolls and her secret recipe BBQ sauce were just a couple family favorites!

She had quite the green thumb and really enjoyed spending time gardening.

She was also a talented seamstress and enjoyed embroidery. She hand quilted many quilts and baby quilts for kids, grandkids, and several other friends and family. Judy also was a collector of antiques, figurines, and dishes. She loved going to yard sales and auctions every chance she could.

When Judy's husband was in a disabling accident, Judy became his caretaker. She took on every aspect of caring for him for 15 years before he passed on July 8, 2020. She was also a caretaker for her mother and brother.

Judy loved her family and every bit of the time she got to spend with them. She was faithful to her family and even her friends. You could always count on Judy to help no matter what help was required. She would bring a pot of soup to you for dinner after a long day, she would run your errands, and she never turned down the chance to babysit grandkids!

Judy is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a grandchild, Karra Lynzi, and three brothers, Knial, Faron, and Kevin.

Survivors include four sons, Jackie Arnall and wife, Evelyn, of Hartville, Missouri, Jody Arnall and wife, Lana, of Hartville, Missouri, Linzie Arnall and wife, Heidi, of Strafford, Missouri, and Laron Arnall and wife, Amy, of Hartville, Missouri, two daughters, Patricia Ivy and husband, Randy, of Mansfield, Missouri, and Kala Melton and best friend, Kenny Williams, of Hartville, Missouri, 20 grandchildren, Randon, Afton, Casey, Maggie, Austin, Taylour, Sydney, Hunter, Braedn, Ryan, Devon, Owen, Dakota, Kaylee, Sydni, Skye, Grady, Grayson, Henley, and Hayden, 23 great-grandchildren, Madalyn, Asher, Kadyn, Cody, Cameron, C'iara, Alyssa, Ashley, Hailey, Dana, Eastyn, Raelynn, Taytum, Rawley, Rhylyn, Cooper, Hadlee Jo, Rylee Jane, Hazel, Wade, Violet, Saylor, and Levi, five great-great grandchildren, Mavrick, Emma, Laylanii, Knox, Marleigh, and two more on the way, three brothers, Garnall Cogdill of Strafford, Missouri, Karmon Cogdill and wife, Sammye, of Lebanon, Missouri, and Klaron Cogdill of Hartville, Missouri, sisters-in-law, June Ann Cogdill and Jane Cogdill, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
