Elizabeth Horner was probably born in either Hawkins County, North Carolina (which would become Hawkins County, TN when Tennessee acquired statehood in 1796) or in Franklin when Tennessee made a bid for admission to the Union as a state named Franklin.
She was the daughter of John (10/3/1770-4/15/1822) and Elizabeth Russell (c 1772-1820) Horner.
Her twin brother John Horner, Jr. died 7/1878.
