Linda Sue (Brooks) Campbell, 57, of rural Lafayette, IN, passed at her daughter's home on Friday, May 26, 2023 at 11:54 PM.
She was born on July 3, 1965 in Tazewell, TN to the late Clarence and Ina Mae (Vestal) Brooks. Linda was married to Daniel J. Huddleston of Delphi, with whom she had her children. She then married Scott Campbell in Attica, IN on August 26, 2006 and he preceded her in death on March 8, 2021.
Linda attended Delphi Community High School and later received her GED. She formerly worked at Indiana Packer's Corp. Linda enjoyed crafts, gardening and just being outside. She dearly loved her children, grandchildren and extended family. They were her life.
Surviving are four children; two stepchildren; 11 grandchildren; and six siblings. Linda was preceded in death by a brother, Bobby Brooks; nephew, Christopher Walters; brother-in-law, Melvin Walters Sr; and sister-in-law, Lisa Brooks.
Visitation will be on Wednesday from 5 to 8pm at Abbott Funeral Home, Inc. in Delphi. She will be taken to Coffey Funeral Home in Tazewell, TN, for services there on Saturday. Visitation will be from 11 AM until her funeral service at 1 PM at the funeral home. Pastor Preston Smith will officiate. Burial will follow in Brooks Cemetery in Tazewell, TN.
