Benny Albert Combs, age 70 of Garrett, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, March 20, 2022 at Pikeville Medical Center, Pikeville, Kentucky. He was born August 15, 1951 in Floyd County, Kentucky to Grace Moore Combs of Garrett, Kentucky & the late Jerry Combs. He was the husband of Elizabeth Cooper Combs. He was a KY State Mine Inspector, member of McDowell First Baptist Church and a Mason at Wayland Lodge. Along with his Mother and Wife he is survived by his Daughters: Jerri C. (Johnny) Keathley of Garrett, Kentucky & Keli C. (Steve) Blankenship of Garrett, Kentucky; Stepson & Stepdaughter: Steve (Melissa) Patton of Richmond, Kentucky & Amy Cunningham of Drift, Kentucky; Grandchildren: Kaitlynn Slone, Clay Slone, Courtney Patton, Bo Cunningham; Brother: Barry Combs; Sister: Samantha Black. Along with his father he was preceded in death by his Stepson: Aaron Patton; Grandparents: Ben & Cora Combs & Albert & Rosha Combs. He will be missed by all that knew and loved him.
Visitation will begin Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at 6pm at the funeral home and will continue all day Thursday, March 24, 2022
Funeral Services will be held Friday, March 25, 2022 at 2pm at Nelson Frazier Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky with Tommy Hall & Larry Patton officiating
Burial will follow at Howard Family Cemetery, Rock Fork, Garrett, Kentucky
