Survivors include his wife, Otha Hyslip Allen; a son, George Allen; four grandchildren, Jonathan, Christine, Anthony T. and Nancy, and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Junior R. Alllen.
The funeral was at 2 p.m. today at Lynn Church of Christ with Richard Carlson officiating. Burial was at Spotts Cemetery at Poughkeepsie with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
