John Wesley Wright was the 8th child of 13 born to Upson Alexander Wright (1823-1899) and Kezziah K. Harris (1835-1921) in Americus, Sumter Co., GA. He was the brother of my gg-grandfather, Silas Joshua Wright (1857-1943).
John married Lillian Castle Jul 27,1887 in Alachua County, Florida. They had one known child, Julia Alice b. Jul 25, 1888 in Alachua County, Florida. He apparently worked as a laborer and farm hand until his death at the age of 58 on 9 November 1920.
