Frances Beatrice (Medlin) (Barr) Stultz was born on December 14, 1912 in Nashville, Davidson County, Tennessee, the daughter of John Franklin Medlin (1871–1951) and Katherine Davis (Greer) Medlin (1877–1962).
She married 1st about 1932 as the 2nd wife of Edward Henry "Eddie" Barr (1890–1943), son of Jacob McLeod Barr III (1863–1900) and Emma E (Boucher) Barr (1865–1951). At the age of 54, a widow, she was married 2nd on October 30, 1965 in Robertson County, Tennessee to Ray Stultz (1902–1983).
Frances was an active Avon representative for 45 years and was also a long-time member of Madison Church of Christ.
Living in Madison, Davidson County, she died August 30, 2004 a widow and 91 years old.
Frances was preceded in death by her husband Roy/Ray Stultz, son Ewing Barr, brothers Norwood Medlin & wife Rena Medlin, Owen Medlin & wife Violet Medln and Joseh Medlin & wife Frances Medlin, sisters Clemmie Holleman & husband Jesse Holleman, Linda Chance & husband E C. Chance and Nettie Crumpton & husband L J Crumpton. Survivors included her daughter Martha Jones & husband Messe Jones, five grandchildren, daughter-in-law Janet Barr, great-grandchildren, 2nd-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services were held on September 1st at Spring Hill Funeral Home, and burial was in Spring Hill Cemetery, with Active Pallbearers being grandsons and a Holleman nephew.
