Alyce Buck Obituary
Buck, Alyce Marie (nee Larson ) January 14, 1926 October 27, 2015, died peacefully at home surrounded by the love of her children. Alyce leaves behind six children. Beverly Brennan (Mike), Jack Buck Jr. (Dana), Christine Buck Mason (David), Bonnie Buck Knab (Michael), Dan Larson Buck and Betsy Beuckman (Joe). She was a cherished Nana to eleven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Her kids kept her laughing and young at heart. . She was the kindest, most honest, generous, intelligent and beautiful person who loved unconditionally - a deeply thoughtful woman who had the ability to see the good in people and in life. She was the mom other kids adopted because she was non-judgmental, nurturing and loving. Alyce was a Rosie the Riveter during WW11 and got her pilot's license when women, didn't do that. She attended Ohio State University. She was an athletic risktaker who never met a roller coaster that intimidated her. She was a life long Cardinal baseball and Ohio State Football fan. Alyce always said, My God is in me. She will be remembered with eternal love as the best mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, greatgrandmother, friend and neighbor. Special thank you with deep gratitude to Dr. John Wood and Internal Medicine Associates at St. Luke's Hospital and her extraordinary caregivers.
