Architect and teacher of architecture at Wilbur Wright College, one of the city colleges of Chicago. He had a direct and lasting influence on most of his "clowns" of 5000+students. He has been quoted to have said, "that the whole point of teaching, is to have your student exceed you." He taught at Wright City College from 1950-1986.
Served as a seaman in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
At the University of Illinois at Urbana, he earned a B.S. degree in architecture in 1941. Studied art history at the University of Chicago. Beaux Arts trained.
