Mrs Eugene May Retired Teacher
Mrs Ida Marie May of 100 Lord Ave died today in Bayonne Hospital after a short illness.

Mrs May a retired school teacher had been acting head of the English department Bayonne High School. She had been director of the BHS senior class the first year the school had a yearbook In its first year the yearbook won second place in the national scholastic ratings done by Columbia University.

She was graduated from Bayonne High School and Trenton Normal College. She also attended Columbia University and received and degrees in English from New York University. Mrs May was a member of the Bayonne Teachers Association the National Retired Teachers Association and the Alumni Association of Trenton Normal College
Surviving are her husband Eugene Field May and a sister Mrs Louis Keppel of Bayonne. The funeral will be Thursday from the Thomas and Sons Funeral Home 984 Avenue. further arrangements will be announced.
