Ja'Corbie Rashad Wallace, also known as "Coby", was born July 3, 2009, in Greenwood, Mississippi, to Mr. Joe Garrett and the late Ms. D'Zondria Wallace.
Ja'Corbie confessed his life to Living Word Church & World Outreach Ministries in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Ja'Corbie was educated at Central Park Elementary School. Ja'Corbie loved his family and friends. Ja'Corbie was so energetic and loved to play video games, such as FortNite. Ja'Corbie fought to his final breath to say who hurt him and his family.
Ja'Corbie departed this life on Saturday, January 30, 2021.
He was preceded in death by his late mother, D'Zondria Wallace, his great-grandmothers, Beaulah (Pam) Wallace and Julia Chairse, his great grandfather, Cleotha McAtee [#188370109], his great-aunts, Beatrice Shoemaker and Ora Mae Kelly, and his great-uncles, J.C. Wallace, Robert Chairse, and Bennie Lee Kelly. Ja'Corbie was also preceded in death by his older sister, La'Porsha.
He leaves behind many memories to be cherished by his father, Joe Garrett of Glendora, Mississippi; his siblings, Fredrick Garrett, Joerniq Garrett, Tyshun Garrett, and Kyla Firrow, all of Glendora, Mississippi; his grandfathers, Charles (Melody) Chairse of Greenwood, Mississippi, and Roy Lee Robinson of Glendora, Mississippi; his grandmothers, Mary Wallace of Memphis, Tennessee, and Sara Garrett; aunts and uncles, Charles Wallace and
Delfonzo Wallace of Saint Paul, Minnesota, Shunderrick Johnson of Jackson, Mississippi, DeAngelo Garcia of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and Kyeuntia Wallace and Dineshia Wallace of Memphis, Tennessee; and a host of cousins and friends.

Ja'Corbie Wallace was laying face down on the floor when police found him, his mother D'Zondria, 30 and his sister, La'Porsha, 14, suffering from fatal gunshot wounds inside their home in St Paul, Minnesota, on Saturday January 30, 2021.
He used his dying breaths to reply to first responders at the scene who asked him who shot him, to which he replied, 'Keith'. That led police to arrest his mother's ex-boyfriend, 26-year-old ,TeKeith Svyone Jones, who was eventually convinced of triple murder
and sentenced to sentenced to 72 years.
Ja'Corbie who had been shot five times, was taken to a nearby hospital where he died several hours later.
According to family and friends Ja'Corbie loved basketball, video games and candy.
