Geraldine was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Robert and Ethel (Mailman) Power and is also predeceased by two brothers, Robert Power and Calvin Power and five sisters, Jean Beatty, Vivian Johnson, Evelyn Valerio, Norma Dube and Roberta Dolan.

She worked for many years as a nurse's aide at the former Providence House Nursing Home in Worcester. Geraldine enjoyed playing cards, doing crossword puzzles, taking trips to the casino and playing Yahtzee.
