Ellen and her 3 husbands were blessed with 10 children and her nickname was "Little Ellen" for from our understanding she was only 4'11" tall.
She is buried along side her husband, William B Tarkington who died in 1912 in the Luther and Mamie Smith plot in Oakwood Cemetery, Corsicana, Tx.
Also buried in the same plot are Nancy Louisa (Ellen mother), Richard Williams (Her brother)and his wife Amanda "Mandy, a baby from her daughter, Mollie Morris Mayo, a daughter, Mamie Carson Smith (who is buried in a double maker with her husband Luther) and Mamie's daughter Irene C Smith O'Conner.
