Mrs. Sarah Swartz, 91 years of age. Passed away at the home of her son, Charles Swartz, 816 Kane St., early Monday afternoon.
Mrs. Swartz was born in Ohio, November 28 1936, and came to Sea Barkers Island, at the age of 7 years. She moved to Iowa in 1864 and 52 years ago move to La Crosse where she has resided ever since.
Surviving are four sons Lawrence, Charles, Frank, and Edward all of La Crosse; one daughter, Mrs. Charles Jones of Hannibal, Missouri; 25 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the home of her son, Charles Swartz, at 816 Kane St. and at 2:30 from the Caledonia Street Methodist Church with Rev. H. R.
