Glenda Denise Williams Cope, 62, of Macon, Georgia, peacefully passed away surrounded by her family on Sunday, June 4, 2023.
A graveside service will be held Thursday, June 8, 2023 at 3 o'clock in the Liberty United Church Cemetery: 6511 Houston Road Macon, Georgia 31216. Pastor Eddie Coatney will officiate.
Mrs. Cope was born on September 24, 1960 to the late Mr. James F. Williams and Mrs. Ann Greene Williams.
Glenda was the Co-Owner of Cope's Accounting Service for over 30 years, she was the President of the United Women Methodist (UMW) and held various other chair positions for many years. Glenda was truly a socialite, she loved to plan parties for all occasions, enjoyed shopping, camping, watching softball games.
Glenda was a people lover. She was the most talkative person that talked to any and everybody. Glenda always put others before herself. Not only did she love her family. Her dog, Max, was loved just as equally, if not more.
Mrs. Cope was preceded in death by; Mr. James Williams and Mrs. Ann Greene Williams
Left to cherish Mrs. Cope's memory is her loving family; her husband, Stanley R. Cope, brother Gary Williams (Daisy), sister Brenda Borum, sister Linda Hernandez, her three children Stephen A. Wilford, Jr.( Heather), Christina Morgan (Jason) Heather Carter(Brandon), seven grandchildren Sophie Wilford, Ben Wilford, Holton Morgan, Casen Morgan, Brody Carter, Braxton Carter and Brock Carter, dog Max Cope.
