Robert Hodgin, 98, passed away on Saturday, March 22, 2008, at Zerbe Sisters Nursing Home, Lancaster County, Pa. He was born on Nov. 23, 1909, in Randolph County, Ind., and was an Electrician most of his life, retiring in 1974, with 32 years of service at Indiana Michigan Power in Fort Wayne. He was a member of First Missionary Church.

Survivors include sons, Ronald (Mary Lee) Hodgin of Grabill, Fred Hodgin of Clearwater, Fla.; daughter, Nancy (Charles) Burch of Narvon, Pa.; 11 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and brother, Edwin (Jackie Sue) Hodgin of Farmland, Ind.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Maxine (Zirkle) Hodgin; four brothers; one sister, and one great-grandchild.

Funeral service is 11 a.m. Saturday at D.O. McComb & Sons Foster Park Funeral Home, 6301 Fairfield Ave., with calling one hour prior. Rev. Charles Burch and Rev. Robert Casement officiating.

Calling is from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Entombment in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne.
