COUCH, William I., 93, of Richmond, passed away Tuesday, June 6, 2023.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Lewis Couch; parents, Betty Coffee and Clinton Rosser Couch; sisters, Alta Duckworth, Kenneth Duckworth, Doris Young, Aurelia Stern, Betty Clement and Mildred Russell; brothers, Beverly, Allen and Rosser Couch. He was also preceded in death by his grandson, William Hughes.

He is survived by his daughter, Karen Spencer and her husband, Donald; son, Donald Couch; companion of 10 years, Fay Brooks; grandchildren, Bobby Hughes, Troy Spencer, and Brian and Courtnay Couch; sister, Faye Sandridge; and five great-grandchildren.

He was retired from Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond and was an Army veteran.

His family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, June 10 at Bliley's – Chippenham, 6900 Hull St. Rd. A graveside ceremony will be held at 12:30 p.m. Sunday, June 11, at Dale Memorial Park.
