Esther Mae (Perot) Towery was born on Ouachita Parish, Louisiana on March 12, 1933 to Yancy Perot and Ethel (Trichell) Perot. She passed from this life in Blanchard, Oklahoma on January 7, 2018 at the age of 84.
Esther married the love of her life R C Towery on February 10, 1950 in Louisiana. Together they had two sons Gary and Ron. Esther was a loving wife and a caring mother, her boys were her everything. Esther and RC spent 67 wonderful years together until his passing in July of 2017.
Esther was a long time resident of Lindsay. She spent her working life as a seamstress for the Lindsay Sewing Factory until her retirement.
Esther enjoyed keeping busy. She loved to sew, cook, and shop. For many years she was involved with quilting at the Lindsay Senior Citizen Building.
Esther is preceded in death by her parents:Yancy and Ethel Perot, her husband: RC Towery, one son: Gary Towery, and three great grandchildren: Christian, Destiny Li, and Keagan Fife.
Esther is survived by her son: Ron Towery and his wife Virginia, two granddaughters: Crystal Fife and her husband Paul and Veronica Jackson and her husband Craig, and four great grandchildren: Sebastian, Analiese, Kallista, and Phoenix Fife.
A graveside service to honor the life of Esther is set to begin at 1:30 P.M. on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at the Green Hill Cemetery in Lindsay, Oklahoma with Chaplain Kelly Martin from Frontier Hospice officiating.
