Emily A. Bodie, 92, formerly of 1215 Willow St., died Tuesday, Feb. 27, 1996, at Hallmark House Nursing Center.
Born Dec. 9, 1903, in Trebon, Czechoslovakia, to John and Mary Hanzel Hojek, she married Anton L. Bodie on Dec. 3, 1960, in Pekin. He died July 9, 1986, in Pekin. She also was preceded in death by two sons, one brother and one sister.
Surviving are one daughter, Dorothy Tesmond of Pekin.
She managed retail candy stores in Chicago for many years.
She was a Gold Star Mother. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and the Senior Citizens, both of Pekin.
Private burial will be Monday at Resurrection Cemetery in Justice.
