Lucille Mae Dierking, age 92, of Loganville, died on Sunday, December 23, 2018.

She was born March 17, 1926 in Menominee, Wisconsin, the daughter of Herman and Beulah (Robertson) Will. She resided in Chicago Heights, Illinois from the age of 14 until retiring in 1991 when she moved to Loganville, Wisconsin.

She married Leonard Emil Dierking on June 4, 1949 in Beecher, Illinois and they were blessed with three children. She valued and loved her family very much. Lucille was a member of St John Faith United Church of Christ in Matteson, Illinois, a former member of the Reedsburg Quilt Guild and the VFW Auxiliary. She enjoyed getting together with her siblings to visit and retell stories from their days on the farm. Lucille was a multi-talented woman, as a seamstress, quilter, cook and baker, preserving the bounties of the gardens each season.

She encouraged her children and grandchildren in faith, family and the value of hard work and modeled these things to them. A tremendous work ethic all of her life she worked as a line cook at The Tivoli Restaurant in Chicago Heights, Illinois for 19 years and CFC International Film Coating retiring after many years. After moving to Loganville, she "unretired" and worked for the Reedsburg School District food service. She enjoyed being around children and young adults.

Lucille was preceded in death by her parents, husband: Leonard (1988); son: Leon Dierking (1996) and all 11 siblings: Helen (John) Hiber, Lorraine (Dougal) McIntyre, Everette (Sarah) Will, Alyce (Robert) Ankrom, Gilbert Will, Lois (Arnold) Delfs, Norma (Richard) Lively, Jerry Will, Harold Will and two infant siblings that died at birth.

Lucille Dierking is survived by her daughter: Lorinda (Thomas)Broughton, of Loganville, WI; son: Loren Dierking, of Chicago Heights, Illinois; grandchildren: Brian, Loralei, Brent, Reid; two great-grandchildren: Reice and Amelia; sisters-in-law: Shirley Will and Marlene Will; nieces, nephews and many friends.

Visitation will be held at St Peter's Lutheran Church, in Loganville, on Sunday, December 30, 2018 from 6-7 pm with a funeral service at 7 pm with Pastor Donald Glanzer officiating.

Lucille will be laid to rest at St Luke's Cemetery, Beecher, Illinois.

Memorials may be made to a charity of your choice.
