Michael Kent Lust, age 60 of Marion, passed away Monday, June 12, 2023 at Marion General Hospital.
Michael was born on August 12, 1962 in Marion, the son of Danny K. and Judith A. (Chandler) Lust. He graduated from Elgin High School and was employed by the Whirlpool Corporation where he retired.
Michael was an outdoorsman and took pride in his gardens. He enjoyed walking fields where he was on the lookout for arrow heads. Golf was also an enjoyment for him along with listening to music.
He is survived by his siblings: Nancy Kearns, Jenny (Keith) Bash, and Dan Lust; brother-in-law, Robert Baney and nieces and nephews: Daniel (Laurie) Kearns, Ashley (Mike) Dean, Brandon Baney, Brittany (Spencer) Mathews, and Chris (Kalyn) Jenner.
Michael is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Karen Baney.
