OBITUARY - VIRGIL E. SPRATT - VIRGINIA SPRATT - RUTH ANN SPRATT
. Virgil E. Spratt, his wife, Virginia Spratt, their two year old daughter Ruth Ann Spratt, all of Factory and County Line Rds, of Sunnyside and a friend of the family, Jim Dean of Kennewick were all killed in a plane crash on Gearhart Mountain near Lakeview, Oregon about 4 a.m. Saturday Morning.
. Virgil E. Spratt, 52, was born in Yakima where he spent his early years and received his education.
. He enlisted in the Navy during World War II, being stationed in Alaska.
. Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Mr. and Mrs. L.H. McBride of Sunnyside, his father, Raymond Spratt of Yakima; one daughter, Debbie Painter, three sons, Randy Spratt, Barry Spratt and David Bowling. He is also survived by three brothers, Linn McBride, Larry McBride and Ronald Spratt, three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
