He married Lela M. Hollingsworth, on June 11, 1943. He retired from Allen Canning Co. and enjoyed hunting. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Wanda L. Wilson.
Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Lela Wilson of Springdale; two brothers, Bertie Wilson of Goshen, Marion Wilson of Elmore, Ala.; two sisters, Ada Long of Fayetteville and Margie Shepherd of Hindsville.
