Tom graduated from Adams City High School in 1967 and enlisted in the United States Army where he served for 20 years. He did a tour in Vietnam from January thru December of 1970. Upon his return, he enlisted in the Army Reserves and went on to become 1st Sergeant of the 244th Engineer Battalion.

Tom worked for the Public Service Company for 40 years. During this time, he raised a family, faithfully went to church. He enjoyed many hobbies, especially gardening, rock hunting and collecting gems. He had a love for paleontology, Native American History and wine-making.

Tom was so adored and loved by his family. He was known as Grampo to the grand kids and each of them had a very special relationship with him.

Tom is survived by his wife Marybeth, his children, Tressa & Vince, Eric, Tracy, his grand children Kate, Paul, Samantha, Alyssa, Vanessa, Jerod and Alison, his great-grand children Shane, Alexis, Marcus, Isaiah, Vivian and Nolan.

He is survived by his sister's Patricia, Nancy & Marie and his brother's Timio, Terry, and Ted as well as numerous nephews, nieces and friends.

Tom's funeral mass will take place on Tuesday July 11, 2023 at 11am - at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church 2645 E. 48th Ave Denver 80216.
