YORK Evangeline M. 'Angie' Steffee, 90, passed away Tuesday March 25, 2008, at York Hospital. She was the wife of the late Ralph R. Steffee and the late Charles F. Kemper.
She was born August 3, 1917, in York New Salem, the daughter of the late Martin Ellswoth and Delsie (Witmer) Stough.
Evangeline is survived by two sisters, Helen Henry of York New Salem and Louise Klinedinst of York; five stepchildren, Barry Steffee of York, Judy Steffee of Mt. Wolf, James Steffee of Red Lion, Diane Hall of York, and Beverly Hall of Mt. Wolf; eight stepgrandchildren; seven step greatgrandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Burial will be in Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
