Mr. Cossey was employed by the AM General Division of LTV Corp. He was a member of Local 5 of the United Auto Workers union.
He was born Sept. 19, 1950, in Florence, Ala., and lived in South Bend since 1952, coming from Florence.
He is survived by his mother, Agnes Cossey of South Bend; a brother, William R. of South Bend; and a paternal grandmother, Inez Cossey of Memphis, Tenn.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednes-day at Welsheimer Funeral Home North, 17033 Cleveland Road. Burial will be in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger.
