David graduated from Alliance High School in 1961 and attended Mount Union College. He worked as a purchasing agent for American Steel Foundries until his retirement in 1997. David then went on to work for WHBC Radio Station, and later Big Time Sports as a statistician for football and basketball.
David served as a board member, treasurer and coach for ACSC soccer. He also coached for West Branch Soccer League and was a long term treasurer for Club Fifty Eight Investment Club. David was also a part of the Marlington Athletic Booster Club.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Nancy, whom he married on February 12, 1971; his daughter, Jennifer Lynn Black; grandchildren, Dezerae Albert, Deaunna Earley, and David Earley; great-grandson, Carson Jacko; and sister, Susan M. Protho. He was preceded in death by his parents and his daughter, Elizabeth Ann Albert.
A funeral service will be held at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 21st at 12:00 p.m. with a visitation two hours prior. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
