JOHN A. LAMB
Services for John A. Lamb, 85, formerly of 2125 Aldrich avenue N., who died Monday, will be 9 a.m. Thursday in Ascension Catholic church, with burial in Resurrection cemetery.

Mr. Lamb, a retired shipping clerk for Carr Cullen Co., died at the home of a daughter in Minneapolis.

He was a Minneapolis resident 65 years and was a member of Holy Name society of Ascension Catholic church and a past president and member for 60 years of Hennepin Encampment 41 of the International Order of Odd Fellows.

He is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Michael Nilan, Austin, Minn., Mrs. William Hackel (or Heckel), Mrs. Lawrence Weiss and Mrs. Wallace Casperson, all of Minneapolis, and five sons, Phillip and Kenneth of Minneapolis, and Gilbert, Los Angeles, Calif., Chauncey, Des Moines, Iowa, and Douglas, Austin, and 40 grandchildren.

There will be a rosary service at 8 p.m. today at Richard Gill mortuary.

Their children are, Phillip, Kenneth, Douglas, Mrs. William Heckel, Mrs. Lawrence Weiss and Mrs. Wallace Casperson, Minneapolis; Gil, Hollywood, Calif.; Chauncey, Des Moines, Iowa; and Mrs. Michael Nilan, Austin, Minn. There are 32 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
