Services for Mrs. Agnes O. Steckel, widow of the late Rev. Lloyd Steckel, were conducted by Rev. W. J. Butt and Rev. Isaiah Whitman at Zion Lutheran church, Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, with burial in Fair Haven cemetery.

Mrs. Steckel was born Feb. 12, 1883, at Chicago. She was married to Rev. Lloyd W. Steckel on October 4, 1905. Several children were born to them, only one of whom lived for a time. He also died at the age of nine months. Later, Rev. and Mrs. Steckel adopted a son and a daughter.

Rev. Steckel preceded his wife in death on March 19, 1938. For the last few years his widow had resided at the Layton home in Milwaukee, Wis.

Following the service for Mrs. Steckel at the Resurrection Lutheran church at Milwaukee, M. E. Kleinsmith brought the body to Mulberry for burial beside her husband.

Survivors are the daughter, Mrs. Marie Peterson, and two daughters of Chicago, Ill; the son, Kenwyn Steckel, and children of Milwaukee, Wis.; three brothers, Ollie Hanson of Decatur, Ill., Christian Hanson of Helena, Ark., and Arvid Hanson of New Buffalo, Mich., and several nieces and nephews.
