Notes: Age 89 years. She was the mother of Mrs. Floyd Deitrich, of Pittsburg, who operated a dress shop here for a number of years.

Death certificate gives death date and time as January 8, 1943, at 12:05 A.M. She is the widow of Thomas Lloyd Sherman. The birth date it gives matches the church birth records for Amanda Collins child of Job and Ann Collins. Yet, the death certificate has her father as Charles Collins and her mother as unknown. She had a brother named Charles. The informant was her daughter Ella; perhaps she was not close to her extended family.

Her daughter Ella Floy Sherman married Mahlon Lloyd Dietrich, so "Floyd" above was likely an error. She died in 1977 in Florida and was cremated. Amanda and William had a son named Frank Lloyd Sherman who died in 1927 in Michigan. His interment site is presently unknown. Their other three known children have memorials linked to below.
