Raymond Watson, 84, of Holladay, formerly of Dyersburg, died Wednesday, June 21, 2023 at Camden General Hospital. Born November 2, 1938, he is the son of the late A.B. and Litha Miller Watson. He was retired from Okeena Exterminating Company and was a member of Sugartree Baptist Church.

Funeral services for Mr. Watson will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday, June 26, 2023 in the Chapel of Curry Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Monday, June 26th beginning at 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Jason Lendermon, James Zaricor, Dylan Watson, Brandon Watson, Josh Morris and Gene Moser will be serving as pallbearers.

He is survived by two daughters, Carolyn Booker and life partner, Wanda of Milan, Kayla Morris and husband Joshua of Camden; three sons, Eddie Watson wife Tricie of Finley, Kevin Watson and wife Sheila of Dyersburg, Allen Watson of Evansville, IN; one sister, Faye Zaricor of Dyersburg; three grandchildren, Brandon Watson, Dylan Watson, Everly Morris; and three great-grandchildren, Ayden Watson, Macy Watson, and Sydnee Watson.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Lorene Hopie Watson; three sisters, Jeanette Capps, Lucille Gamble, Frances Duncan and one brother George Watson.
