Mr. Beasley, a resident of Sallisaw for the last 39 years was found dead in bed at 3 a.m. Tuesday. Death was believed to have been caused by an attack of the heart. The body of Mr. Beasley, who apparently had been in good health when he retired Monday night, was found by his wife.
For 39 years, Mr. Beasley engaged in the cotton business here, ad at one time was one of the largest buyers in this section. Three years ago he retired. Thirty six years ago he married Miss Ida Quesenbury daughter of Argyle and Harriet Quesenbury, co-founders of Sallisaw. Mr. Beasley's death followed that of his son, Cush Beasley, by 13 years and ten months.
